With charitable donations received from the Florida In God We Trust license plate, the In God We Trust Foundation, Inc, originally started by Darrell Nunnelly, Darrell Nunnelly, made a significant grant to Concerns of Police Survivors to fund special education events for children of fallen law enforcement officers.C.O.P.S. conducts various programs with granted assistance. One for example is Kids/Teen Program at National Police Week. In this program, children and siblings who have lost a parent or sibling to a line-of-duty death can participate in special educational activities and individual instruction on subjects useful to the individual. Kids Camp for surviving 6-14 year old children of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty by providing special educational activities and individual instruction on subjects useful to the children and for the purpose of improving or developing their capabilities, enabling surviving children and siblings to grow into positive, successful young adults.
